Kip Deeds: Art and Design

Welcome to kipdeeds.com. Over the past year I have been studying web and media design at Bucks County Community College. This site is in part a testament to this training. Prior to my schooling at Bucks, I studied painting drawing and printmaking as an undergraduate and graduate student. One of my goals for this site is to bridge my experiences by integrating digital design with hand-illustrated graphics. This June I completed three paintings on canvas and one mixed media drawing. Currently, I am teaching digital arts at Interlochen Center for the Arts (June 25 - August 7) in Northern Michigan. Since arriving at Interlochen, I have added a post to my blog about the Pajama Factory in Williamsport, Pennsylvania. On August 6th an exhibit of my books and drawings will open at the Kalamazoo Book Arts Center. (The last update of this site occurred on 7/12/2010)

My aim is to continue to develop my skills in web and print design. I am also forging ahead with new mixed media drawings that can be purchased through Dolan Maxwell in Philadelphia. For exhibition information click here.
