61 Days

I was once told a story of an ancient fear of the world turning to darkness. Each year an anxiety about shorter days increased as the winter solstice approached. Prayers were made that light would remain with those that were faithful. This book reveals the transistion of light over two months coupled with a psychological record of change. While the calendar is now known and dependable, life is less precictabe. The drawings couples predictability with events that occur without the same reliable calculation.
